Property Description
The city of Hilton Head will be undertaking a beach renourishment project during the autumn of 2006. This project will start in September on the beach in Port Royal Plantation by the Westin hotel and move south. The active area being worked on will be approximately one thousand yards wide across the beach. This area will be closed to all foot and boat traffic. The pace will be about 150-200 yards south along the beach per day. The work will continue rain or shine twenty-four hours. Engine noise will be minimal, but guests will hear the back-up beepers that OSHA requires on all major equipment. The noise will be continuous throughout the project. * Please note Marriott's Barony Beach Club will be under renovation from November 27th 2006 through March 24th 2007. Work will take place between 8am and 5pm and includes annual maintenance of our gardenview villas and swimming pools plus new renovations to our courtyard and oceanfront villas. * Marriott Vacation Club International resorts feature spacious villas designed to provide high quality accommodations within a relaxing resort atmosphere. Each villa has a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living and dining areas and well-appointed bedrooms. Ideally situated in Port Royal Plantation, Marriott's Barony Beach Club provides luxurious accommodations and amenities in a relaxing resort setting near fine dining, shopping and world-class golf and tennis. Marriott's newest addition to Hilton Head Island offers two bedroom, two bath villas in a beachfront location accessible to the ocean. All accommodations are now non-smoking. Marriott Vacation Club Villa Rentals: Large Spaces in Great Places! / The Barony Beach Club is one of six Marriott Vacation Club International locations on Hilton Head Island. Guest check-in is at the property itself, not the Marriott Welcome Center at 1044 William Hilton Parkway; the Barony Beach Clubs's front desk is staffed twenty-four hours seven days a week.
